What GMAT score do I have to get?
Many students ask what score they need to achieve in order to be competitive for the schools of their choice. Below are the fifty schools that require the highest GMAT scores in the US. Usually, a higher median score is linked to a higher business school ranking. However, as you will see, this is not always the case.
The information for European and other non-US schools can be found here: Average gmat score of mba students in non-US mba programs

You may also want to consider taking the GRE instead of the GMAT. MBAs around the world started accepting the GRE in 2011 (over 200 MBA programs in the US including top schools like Stanford are now accepting it) and taking the GRE has some advantages. However, in 2020 the majority of applicants still took the GMAT (approximately 75%).
